Electronics insurance

Electronics are part of everyday family life, and accidental damage can happen. The agency’s source explains that au pairs living in the household are not automatically covered by a family’s existing policy and that normal au pair liability cover excludes damage to household electronics.

The ARAG electronics option

The source describes an ARAG policy covering devices belonging to household members, with up to €5,000 per device and a €50 deductible per claim. For a total loss, devices up to two years old are reimbursed at replacement value; older devices are reimbursed at current value.
